Corridor Economic Development Corporation
To assist with the development of Bedford’s affordable housing communities, the firm has formed a strategic partnership with Corridor Economic Development Corporation, a nonprofit housing and economic development organization.
Corridor is committed to revitalizing the physical and socioeconomic conditions of underserved communities. Founded in 1988 by Senator Diane E. Watson, Corridor’s mission is to foster, coordinate, plan, improve and encourage development in low income areas through the development of quality, affordable housing and on-site supportive services.
In line with its mission, Corridor's goals are two-fold:
- To construct and rehabilitate affordable housing units in underserved areas to help promote community stability and a sense of pride; as well as
- To increase the delivery of free social/community services and programs for youth, families and senior residents.
As a result of Bedford’s strategic partnership with Corridor Economic
Development Corporation, the firm has developed a number
