Villa Broadway Apartments     South Los Angeles, CA

The Watts-Athens Preservation project is comprised of the rehabilitation of 17 scattered sites throughout South Los Angeles (including the pictured Villa Broadway Apartments). One of Bedford’s most complex projects, the goal for this development was to preserve the affordability and long-term viability of these buildings by restoring them to the City’s affordable housing stock.

Comprised of a total of 100 units, the rehabilitation sites for the Watts/Athens project are located in urban communities with a high concentration of apartment buildings and are also in close proximity to a variety of community amenities, major bus lines and freeways, as well as area schools and colleges.
